| We are located, in a lovely
valley in the Gila National Forest on the “Trail of the Mountain Spirits”,
¼ mile from the west end of Lake Roberts.
You can come up through the Mimbres Valley from the south on NM Highway #35, from the
junction with NM Highway #152 or you can travel up NM Highway # 15, which
is 25 miles of beautifully forested mountain road.
Note: Highway #15 is a paved, winding road.

Four gentle seasons make our southwest New Mexico
wilderness area a place for year round enjoyment with cool nights and bright
sunny days.
You can catch beautiful rainbow trout and fat
catfish at Lake Roberts. The Gila National Forest is well known for it's
abundant wildlife, numerous forest trails, Indian ruins, quaint businesses,
local artists and the famous Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument, all
in the unique south west.
Come travel "The Trail of the Mountain Spirits"
and visit the historical Mimbres Valley, Lake Roberts, the Gila River,
Gila Hot Springs, Pinos Altos, and Silver City New Mexico areas.
