| Tour of the Gila Bike Race - May |
| Ranked as one of the most grueling stage races
in North America, the Tour of the Gila will attract 500 to 600 participants
to Silver City, New Mexico. On two of the days the Bike race, usually held in early May, passes
right by the Lake Roberts Cabins & General store. Come visit
and see some of the best hill venue for this race. For more date

| Blues Festival - May |
| The 3 days blues festivel is held every spring
during Memorial Day weekend for over 10 years. Come enjoy the blues
and stay in the cool pines of Lake Roberts.
The Silver
City Blues Festival in Gough Park, downtown Silver City, is produced
by the Mimbres Region Arts Council and sponsored by local businesses. |

| Beat the Heat Parelli Clinics - June |

Each June the first part of the Beat the Heat Parelli Clinic Series is held in beautiful Lake Roberts area. Parelli enthusiasts from all over the south west leave the hot desert come to hone their horsemanship skills with Jinita Hayes (certified Parelli instructor) in the cool pines of the south west. | Hummingbird Festival - July |
| In July the humingbirds at Lake Roberts are at their peak with with the little jewel toned birds ziping from feeders to flowers. Lake Roberts is one of the few places in the US to have such a large and diverse popuation of hummingbirds from the from the tiny Calliope to the 6-inch Magnificent humming bird. There could not be a more perfect month for our local hummingbird festival, hosted by Joan Day Martin. Joan is one of only a few people in the world certified to band humming birds. The festival draws about 300-400 people annually and is growing in size and one of the most unique festivals held anywhere. Come watch a hummingbird banding, learn more about birds and hummingbirds, enjoy festival arts, crafts and food. |

| Oktoberfest - October |
|
Lake Roberts Oktoberfest is held each October and sponsored by the Sapillo Creek Volunteer Fire and Rescue Auxiliary. Lake Roberts is generally cool with warm days in October and the leaves are golden and their is a crispness in the air. Come enjoy bear, bratz, and a good time at our Oktoberfest.
